Installing the keyfiles and unlocking the full versions:
You have received the keyfile to unlock the full version together with the download link from ShareIt. You can find it in the attachment of the email from ShareIt. This keyfile contains your personal serial number with your name and works like a dongle. You must copy this file to a specific place on your harddisc to unlock the full version.
Gladiator on Mac:
Copy gladiator.t2k to /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/
The correct path for the file is:
/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/gladiator.t2k
This is NOT the correct path:
/Users/Username/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/
Filenames on Unix based systems like OSX can be case sensitive!
Gladiator on PC:
Copy gladiator.t2k to your VST plugins directory. It must be within the same directory as gladiator.dll.
FilterBank3 on Mac:
Copy Filterbank.t2k to /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/
The correct path for the file is:
/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Filterbank.t2k
This is NOT the correct path:
/Users/Username/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/

FilterBank3 on PC:
Copy filterbank.t2k to your VST plugins directory. It must be within the same directory as 'FilterBank3 FX.dll'.
FireBird+ on PC:
Copy firebird.key to your VST plugins directory. It must be within the same directory as 'FireBird.dll'. Do not double click on the file!.
Where can I find the VST plugins directory (PC)?
This depends on your host installation. Steinberg hosts often use C:\Program files\Steinberg\VSTplugins. You can also take a look at your host's directory configuration. Another way to find it is to use the Windows file search function. Search for 'firebird.dll' or the plugin of your choice.

Where can I find the AU (Audio unit) plugins directoryx (Mac)?

The plugin is detected from my host software but the GUI does not show up?
You did not copy the keyfile with the right name to the right place.
The plugin is not detected and listed in my host software?
You need to do a plugin rescan in your host software.
I have copied the keyfile to the right place, but i still can’t see the GUI?
The GUI resize handling of some hosts is buggy (Sonar 5 and others). You need to do a plugin rescan in your host.
What elso do I have to know?
Do not change the numbers within the keyfile. Hacking keyfiles is illegal. The plugins do not work with modified ones.
Do not distribute your keyfile. Giving keyfiles to other persons is illegal. Keyfiles which are 'leaked' will be locked.
I have copied the keyfile to the right place, but my host software still can’t find the plugin?
1) Install the full version of the plugin
2) Copy the keyfile to the right place
3) Start your host software
4) Rescan the plugins
5) Restart the host software
My browser opens and tells me that I am using a pirated plugin?
Completely uninstall the illegal version. Go to our online shop on www.tone2.com and buy a full version. If you need futher assistance contact your support.
